In Canada, Israel Adesanya met up with former UFC two-division champion Georges St-Pierre
before his matchup with kickboxing opponent Alex Pereira at UFC 281.
According to Daniel Cormier, Adesanya's recent proximity to Georges St-Pierre has something to do with his next adversary.
Daniel Cormier suggested that Israel Adesanya's recent affinity for "Rush" may be a result of Pereira's intimidating demeanour
when discussing the upcoming fight: "He [Adesanya] went up to Canada and spent some time with Georges St-Pierre to try and develop that mindset of taking on someone
that has gotten you before [referring to the two defeats in kickboxing].
Many believe that Alex Pereira poses the greatest risk to 'The Last Stylebender's tyrannical rule as middleweight champion.
Georges St-Pierre and Israel Adesanya have previously proclaimed their respect for one another numerous times.
Adesanya was famously referred to as the "ideal warrior" in the movie "Rush."
